Some might call our sport “gay”
But we like to run it anyway.
Short shorts, spandex, and paper-thin shoes
Running to run whatever you choose.
Jumping and sprinting through the deadly water-pit
Frozen areas; you throw a fit.
Yes, we run miles a day,
Some people call us crazy in dismay.
A loving team is what we can be
So close to each other, like family.
No putting us down, we come to win.
Winning first place by a hair or a pin.
We are the ones;
We are the strong.
There’s nothing left to live for
And nothing left to lose.
